about us
European Consumer Claims (ECC) are the UK and Europe’s leading holiday ownership release and consumer claims specialists.
Who are ECC?
Since 2016, ECC’s primary focus has been on holiday ownership cancellations and claims. Over this time, we have pushed boundaries and campaigned to change the legal landscape so that consumers that can have the opportunity to be compensated for mis-selling. Thanks to the ground-breaking work and persistence of our legal partners, we have achieved over £28 million in court compensation awards for clients who were mis-sold holiday ownerships.
We have helped thousands of owners from across the UK to release themselves from unwanted holiday ownerships all over the world, and to recover money where possible.
The natural evolution of ECC, backed by our solid history of consumer claims, has brought us to the UK Holiday Park industry, which has boomed in recent years.
Our mission is to continue to assist consumers who have been victims of mis-sold holiday products, including UK Holiday Park and worldwide holiday ownerships.
We have expert ownership release and claims consultants operating from our offices in the UK, Spain and the United States of America ready to assist Timeshare and Holiday Park owners who wish to rid themselves of binding contracts, associated fee commitments and claim their money back.
Why ECC?
Established in 2016, this year ECC LLC celebrates 10 years in business. During that time, we have assisted thousands of clients to escape onerous contracts and to claim millions in compensation.
With our head office in New York, USA and supporting infrastructure in the UK (ECC Ltd) and Spain (ECC SL) we provide a truly global service.
By leveraging the weight of claims we process through strong, established relationships with legal partners across various jurisdictions, ECC can secure significant economies of scale, allowing us to contract clients on a fixed fee basis at a much lower cost than what it would otherwise be if clients were to contract with lawyers directly.
In certain, specific circumstances, ECC is able to offer clients No Win No Fee options.
How the process works…
The process begins with a free initial consultation, enabling clients to decide whether to contract ECC’s services.
Those clients who go ahead with a claim have an automatic 14 day window allowing them a right of withdrawal, no questions asked. Following this 14 days, the client’s documentation is studied to determine the case viability, the jurisdiction and route to fulfil the contracted service.
This is all conducted by our onboarding team based in our European administration centre in Spain. From there, our clients sign a Letter of Authority to pass their file and contact details to one of our appointed legal partners to prepare for engagement and legal action if required.
