Onagrup / Global Great Hotels Timeshare Scheme exposed

Onagrup members have signed contracts that have been described as "unlawful, misrepresented and non-compliant with EU timeshare regulations" by Chartered Trading Standards heroes KwikChex.

Many owners who signed with Global Great Hotels (GGH), the company at the forefront of the Onagrup scandal, have been caught in a huge timeshare scheme that involved “investing” large sums of money into luxury holidays and holiday rental properties.

On many occasions, the clients had to remortgage their homes, arranged via an FCA regulated mortgage broker to enable the purchase, which they were told would deliver a solid rental income as well as extremely discounted luxury holidays.

After a promising start followed a decline in rental monies received and availability of holidays until at the end of last year, investors received the news that the scheme had collapsed. An investigation has ensued which has uncovered all flaws in the deceptive scheme and forms the basis to claim back the money “invested” in the deceptive scheme.

Your Onagrup / GGH membership

  • May be void due to breaches in your contract
  • May have been sold to you under false pretences
  • May not have honoured the cancellation of an existing timeshare membership that you agreed to exchange.
  • May have coerced you into remortgaging your home

Here's what some of our Onagrup clients have said about their ownership

"We were not receiving any rental income as promised and the service fees we were having to pay were increasing considerably each year without the rental income we gave permission for reassignment of our Five plus Five ownership"

"Neither I nor any of my family have ever used my timeshare, and it became more and more of a financial burden, particularly when we were required to pay for refurbishments never used or even seen! It became more and more of a financial albatross that I would never have knowingly signed up for."

"It had always been a money pit and was now even more so. It has never been worth the money it cost, and was still costing."

We are not impressed at the real timeshare as to what we were promised. we are also getting older and no longer use it. But maintenenance still has to be paid each year and that is going up each year - Now approx 800 euros per year. Plus RCI fees and the cost of booking the holiday etc thats if we can get in somewhere.

"Loss of benefits. Fear that the maintenance fees will keep increasing. It doesnt suit our lifestyle now. Concerned that its in perpetuity and I dont want my children saddled with it."

"In the beginning it was great but as we got older and couldn’t travel abroad it became very difficult to find accommodation in this country"

"Completely trapped in later years."
